All Farm to Face products are made to order in small batches to ensure maximum freshness and quality. Typical lead times range from 7–21 days, depending on the item, weather conditions, and seasonal farm workload. We appreciate your patience and support of handcrafted skincare straight from the farm.

Tallow, rendered from beef fat, is exceptionally dense in fat-soluble vitamins - A, D, E, K, and B12 - and is known for its deeply moisturizing and healing properties. It's a heavier, more occlusive ingredient, which makes it particularly effective for dry or compromised skin, eczema, psoriasis, and overnight repair.

Tallow vs. Lard

Tallow and lard are both rendered animal fats with a long history of use in skincare, but they each bring something a little different to the table.

Lard, rendered from pork fat, is lighter in consistency and has a pH that sits closer to that of human skin, making it especially gentle and well-absorbed. It's high in vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamin A, and is often preferred by those with sensitive or acne-prone skin who want the benefits of animal-based skincare without as much weight.

Raising the Standard

You started asking questions about your food for a reason: where it came from, how the animals were raised, what they were fed, and whether the label can be trusted. We built this farm so that when you shop with us, every one of those questions has an answer you can trust.

At Hidden Creek, every animal is raised on our own pasture in Salem County, NJ. Our animals rotationally graze each acre of the farm, which keeps the pasture healthy, the soil improving, and the animals eating fresh ground on a regular cycle - the way they were built to. We don't source from other farms, and we don't have a supply chain long enough to lose track of anything. When you ask us how your food was raised, we can tell you, because we were there for every step of it.
